Our Story

Open Oceans began as part of the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) Foundry program to commercialize breakthrough defense technologies to solve national security problems. Working with the best in-class labs and inventors, we worked towards commercializing these groundbreaking technologies to provide a more reliable and efficient marine tech solution.  The US Navy patented technologies and products being offered by Open Oceans were developed, tested, and validated by NWIC (Pacific).

In the field of UUV transport, launch, and recovery, we continue to seek out companies and individuals to help us build and deliver a scalable solution, rethink the norm, and join us on our journey.  We are always happy to connect with expertise, investors, and possible partners as we continue our growth journey to make ocean explorations safe, intelligent, and accessible.
