Pinniped Deterrent

One problem that some regions face is the interference of pinnipeds on their docks, piers, or marinas. These aquatic mammals have occupied the docks besides boats, bark all throughout the night, defecate on boats and tops of decks (leaving a most pungent odor), and have even occasionaly charged at people.

Many harbors, beaches, and marinas, have tried to come up with their own solutions to the pinniped problem like planting floating docks for the pinnipeds, deterring them using white noise machines, or using "air dancers" (commonly found at car dealerships) to scare them. Our solution is National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) approved and shown to be effective and harmless to the pinnipeds when tested by the U.S. Navy at their docks.
